Todd C. McDonald   President


Todd McDonald is the President of Aisling Partners Insurance Brokerage, LLC, an independent resource in the health and welfare marketplace. His specialty is business consulting in the area of employee benefits. Todd’s goal is to provide the most comprehensive benefits program by customizing the products and solutions to fit the needs of his corporate clients and their employees. Todd incorporates his passion for helping people and developing friendships in to his every day practice.

Todd started his career with Paul Revere Life Insurance Company back in the early 90’s as a wholesaler for individual disability products. Shortly after the merger with Paul Revere and Provident Life and Accident in 1996, Todd changes his focus and attention away from individuals products to that of employee benefits. In September 1998 he was recruited to GE Financial Assurance (formerly Phoenix Home Life) in Boston, MA as a Group Sales Representative where he remained until the spring of 2002. In April 2002, Todd executed his plan to create a premier employee benefits company by founding Aisling Partners Insurance Brokerage, LLC. Todd remains very active in his community as well as in the Insurance Industry, and he will continue to sit on Boards of Directors on both a local and state level.

Todd has a demonstrated track record of being successful in his endeavors. From early in his career when he received the largest fast start bonus in Paul Revere history to his Leadership Qualifications and Production Awards at GE Financial, Todd has always demonstrated the drive and motivation to achieve, and exceed, the personal and professional challenges surrounding him. He is a person that will continue to demonstrate leadership at its finest while keeping his clients needs in the forefront.

Todd and his wife Julie reside in Paxton, Massachusetts with their three young boys, Nicholas Matthew, and Curtis. Todd plays golf as well as other sports and activities, but spending time with his family is where he finds his true enjoyment.

James Rancatore   Vice President of Business Development


James serves as Aisling Partners Vice President of Business Development. James has over 20 years of Sales, Marketing and Distribution experience. A strategic, results oriented, B2B sales executive with a multi-year record of demonstrated success in driving business growth strategies that increased competitive position. Highly successful in securing customer loyalty and forging strong relationships with business partners.

James developed an in depth knowledge of clients’ long term business strategy and key initiatives through regular business planning sessions. Implemented several innovative solutions addressing client business and operational challenges leveraging products and services through needs based analysis and consultative sales techniques.

Prior to joining Aisling Partners James served as Executive Vice President of iTrust Advisors LLC, President of Rancatore Advisory Group and Signature Recruiting, Inc. where he directed the third party recruiting and sourcing efforts for many of the life insurance and financial services industry’s top companies. He has over 25 years experience in sales and marketing. Over the years, while staying true to his core practice, James focused his energies on the development of an independent platform strategy for those seeking autonomy. James has worked closely with many of the industry’s top GA’s, producers and producer groups.


John Fitt   Principal at Catalyst Benefits


John Fitt is a Principal and Senior Consultant from our location in Connecticut, also known as Catalyst Benefits, LLC.

John began his career in 1989 with Chubb Insurance in Parsippany NJ focused on healthcare sales to employers with 2 to 100 employees in the NY, NJ and CT market on a direct basis. In 1994, John was recruited to join Prudential Financial where he trained in various home office functions before continuing his sales career in their Boston Group office. While at Prudential in Boston, John’s primary responsibility was to provide employee benefit sales to employers with 25 to 5,000 employees through the broker and consultant sales channel. John served on many internal and external focus groups where he gained a thorough knowledge of advanced market concepts such as self-funding/self-insurance strategies, integrated disability management, retiree life buy-outs and international pooling.

In 2004, John made the decision to join C.M. Smith Agency in Glastonbury CT as a senior consultant where he provided employee benefits consultation to a diverse group of clients that included multi-national corporations, manufacturers, professional service companies, retail employers and non-profit hospital systems. His practice at C.M. Smith covered the entire benefits spectrum, from overseeing the day-to-day administrative tasks as well as the design, implementation and management of the current and long-term benefits strategy for his clients.

John’s overall experience and expertise with larger employers and complex benefit programs provides our firm with additional depth and resources for all of our clients.


Jon Clark   Senior Consultant


Jon Clark is a Senior Consultant specializing in employee benefits. Jon has a long and successful track record as a consultant since 1995. Prior to Aisling Partners, he was a founding partner of a highly successful employee benefits brokerage and brings over 11 years of agency management experience. Jon has earned a reputation from peers and clients alike for being an incredibly thorough, proactive, and creative broker whom takes the time to know every one of his client’s needs. Jon also prides himself on taking part in every step of the benefits process from vendor negotiations to employee education. It is his goal to deliver to every client the most customized benefits package that will achieve both the highest level of employee workplace satisfaction while at the same time, assisting the employer with controlling their costs.


Valeria B. Abreu   Operations Manager


Val brings to Aisling Partners an extensive background in Human Resources. Her experience offers knowledge in benefits, overall HR management, strong customer/client service, and business processes. She is a liaison for clients and carriers, managing accounts from enrollment to renewal, as well as aiding clients on everyday HR issues. Val is a member of EANE, Employers Association of the NorthEast, and is currently preparing for the PHR/SPHR Certification. She resides in Lincoln, RI.


Brooke Melia   Account Manager & Social Media Manager


Brooke has a strong background focused in the employee benefits marketplace. She works directly with both our small and large account clients on the coordination and overall management of their day to day needs. This management includes but is not limited to participating in the renewal process from start to finish including carrier negotiations, site visits through the year and assistance with all matters pertaining to the employee benefits placed by Aisling Partners. Brooke prides herself on her focus, her attention to details and the ability to provide a constant, dependable and personal touch to each of her accounts. Brooke also maintains our social media sites in addition to leading the charge on Aisling University.
